Dancer Information
Wild Trillium Auditions and Performing Information:
We would love for you to join us!
Performance is by audition only. Please select a dance(s) from our repertoire that we will be performing in an upcoming show. It is recommended to select from Tier 1 choreographies as these are easier, but you may select whichever dance(s) you like. Choreographies are rated from tier 1-3 in order of difficulty. Tier 1 being the easiest, and tier 3 being the most difficult. Tier 4 choreographies are those that are not considering new dancer additions at this time.
Record yourself performing the dance (by yourself), upload to YouTube as an “unlisted” video, and send the video link to Anna at least 1 month prior to the performance (at least enough time to allow for formation changes prior to the show).
*** You do not need to audition for Saideh or Zil Improv. These are open to all! All you need to do is attend rehearsals leading up to the show in order to perform in either of these choreographies.
Audition criteria that must be met in order to be considered:
The dancer must be able to perform each movement correctly with good technique, rhythmic accuracy, and posture.
The dance must be fully memorized without prompting.
The dancer must be able to perform the dance while connecting with the audience and other dancers, as well as with command of facial expression and emotion.
The dancer must have all costume elements and props required.
